Now the latest GPS to hit the market is the c330 Garmin GPS manufactured by the Garmin Company and commonly called the Street Pilot. What sets the c330 apart from other GPS devices is its City Navigator software that comes preloaded with all the necessary maps and routes for any destination of your choice.

It has an intuitive touch screen that is visible in strong sunlight and its big color display screen makes it very easy on the eyes. The touch screen interface is highly user friendly and provides route planning along with re-routing options.

It can be connected to any other electronic device with its USB cable. Garmin has always provided quality devices in navigation; they have succeeded once again with their

Reviewers of the Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS Receiver found it to be a high quality GPS system. A number of reviewers noted that the screen could be quite difficult to read in bright sunlight, and the brightness could do with a bit more power.

Reviewers also mentioned that it would benefit the unit to have the light sensing feature found on other high end GPS systems that would automatically dim or brighten the screen based on light levels. All in all, reviewers found the Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS Receiver to be a good purchase and would purchase the Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS Receiver again.

Garmin Streetpilot c340 Review

By.  Aristalina

Back in 2005, when the Garmin Streetpilot c340 automotive GPS first came out, it was definitely the “flagship model” of the Garmin C-Series GPS devices.  The other important feature of the Garmin Streetpilot c340 worth noting, is the advanced text to speech function.

In my opinion this is even better than the “traffic services” feature. The text to speech works like this: when you are getting near the street that you need to turn on, it will actually tell you you the name of the street, and which way you need to turn (IE: “turn left onto main street”, or “turn right onto baker street”).

The Streetpilot c340 was the most popular (and the best, in my opinion) out of the Garmin C-series automotive GPS devices, back in 2005. Fortunately, there is a LOT of refurbished Garmin Streetpilot c340s around, and they can be purchased for very cheap.

Gps Navigation systems are becoming a popular necessity for people who like to travel places here lately.

The Garmin StreetPilotc c340 leads the portable, affordable c300 series with text to speech capability and optional traffic alerts. It’s intuitive touch screen operation and big displays make it easy to use.
StreetPilot c340 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps, including a great amount of, points of interest (POIs), including motels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more.

Traveling abroad? Avoid traffic jams with the addition of an FM TMC traffic receiver and traffic services. Simply touch the screen to view traffic details or recalculate your route to avoid traffic. The portable c340 easily moves from vehicle to vehicle.
